How to prolong your tan: a few simple and effective tips for golden skin, even in Autumn.

The beloved tan that we have enjoyed during our days at the beach or in the mountains, has a limited lifespan. When we come back from our holidays we know that, in a fortnight, our golden tan will start to fade a little at a time, leaving us with our original paler colour.

Once back in town, there are a few things we can do to make our tan last a few more days and to make us feel like we’re still on holiday. The products of the Body Insight line will also help us. Let’s get started!

Drinking plenty of water can help keep you hydrated, and if your body is sufficiently hydrated, your skin will benefit too. Green tea, freshly squeezed juices and flavoured waters are also perfect, as they also help to replenish valuable vitamins and minerals.

The Power of a Good Exfoliation

In addition to moisturising, regular exfoliation, both before and after sun exposure, is a great way to get rid of dead skin cells and ensure an even and long-lasting tan. Choosing the right scrub is important: a scrub that is too aggressive will leave the skin with micro-scratches and small lesions, but if it is too mild, it will not be able to exfoliate adequatedly.
