COILY HAIR (TYPE 4)
This curly hair pattern is often also called “afro-textured” or “tight spiral”, and it is characterised by an extremely dense pattern, high porosity, and fragility. The curl can vary, ranging from tight to very tight, becoming increasingly defined as the curvature varies. Hair type 4, also widely known as coily hair, might look very dense and robust, but they are actually the most fragile and have a dry texture with the fewest cuticle layers. Coily hair tends to be very dry, and it breaks more easily and can appear less defined due to its very tight S to Z pattern.
Type 4 hair textures have a flat diameter and do not grow as quickly compared to an oval Caucasian hair texture. The main concerns about these textures are dryness, breakage and shrinkage.

ORGANIC COCONUT OIL
Coconut oil is one of the most loved natural hair care oils, especially for those in need of an extra level of hydration. It is rich in saturated fats, that have a nourishing, soothing, and repairing action on the hair. Coconut oil restores the right level of hydration to curly hair, giving curly hair shininess and smoothness and contrasting the frizz effect.
CHIA AND SACHA INCHI SEEDS’ OIL (BLEND)
This oil blend restores elasticity and shininess to the hair, thanks to the high concentration of tocopherol and fatty acids. Chia seeds’ oil antioxidant properties, in synergy with the nourishing action of Sancha Inchi’s oil, protect curly hair from external aggression and helps it retain water.
